nike station 97

Concept

In July of 2017, we went underground to team up with Nike and Boiler Room to stage a hyper-cool subway station dance party to promote the launch of the Airmax 97 Ultra. We took over the 163rd St. and Amsterdam Avenue subway station for a 1997-themed night of cutting-edge music, featuring undeniably cool acts like Joey Beltram, Physical Therapy, and Laurel Halo.

Our Role

We scouted the location at the abandoned 163rd St. and Amsterdam Ave subway station. We also curated the DJs for three days of music production workshops. We led all onsite production including fabrication, construction, A/V, permitting, safety logistics, staff, talent and audience recruitment. We also created custom built & branded displays to showcase original 90’s Air Max sneakers.
