Netflix Umbrella Academy Experience
Concept
In February 2019, we partnered with Rapport and Netflix to produce a giant umbrella experience in Bryant Park to promote the new hit TV show, The Umbrella Academy. This experience included a 32’ umbrella, food & beverage giveaways, photo moments and a projection mapping component. A surprise wedding and umbrella flashmob were also highlights of this great event!
Our Role
Raising and securing a 30’ umbrella in Bryant Park is no small feat, especially when dealing with a cult hit like Umbrella Academy. We had to design the umbrella, get it engineered and then permitted by the city- all while a polar vortex swept town!
