IDEKO brought championship energy to the heart of New York City, producing the historic Knicks Championship Celebration at City Hall, a moment more than 50 years in the making. With under a week of turnaround, our team was proud to produce the Keys to the City Ceremony at City Hall Plaza, where NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani honored the team in front of players, fans, celebrities, and generations of New Yorkers who had waited for this moment.
IDEKO led end-to-end production across the iconic civic space, including permitting, logistics, staging, audio-visual, technical execution, and printing. The ceremony featured a special performance by Alicia Keys, whose “Empire State of Mind” became the perfect finale to a celebration of the Knicks, their fans, and the city that never stopped believing.
